The theme song to a show about serial killers converted to sound like an 8-bit Atari game? Ahh yeah, that’s my jam!
Mike 2600 has converted the show’s eerie theme music into an 8-bit version that is begging for a video game companion — make it happen, internet nerds!
Until that happens though, (probably 24 hours max) you’ll just have to play with your Rust Cohle paper doll by Jeannetto for fun. Make him interrogate some beer can men about the pointless existence of life or something.
Stanley Kubrick’s treatment for ‘Full Metal Jacket.’
The first step toward what would become the screenplay of ‘Full Metal Jacket’ (1987). Having based his treatment on Gustav Hasford’s 1979 novel, The Short-Timers, Kubrick then met with Michael Herr — Vietnam war correspondent and author of Dispatches (1977) — to break the treatment down onto index cards, before Herr wrote the first draft of the screenplay. Kubrick, Herr, and Hasford would all receive a screenplay credit in the end. [Bonhams]
